While supporting the UK marketing team, I wrote and adapted copy for PR materials, including product descriptions for press releases, briefing documents for beauty editors and press kits.
The challenge
Write copy that upheld Estée Lauder's prestigious brand voice across different formats and audiences. Beauty editors needed technical product information results, while consumer-facing materials required aspirational, benefit-led language.
The approach
I translated product formulations and scientific benefits into compelling copy, whether that was distilling a serum's key ingredients into editor-friendly briefing copy or crafting aspirational descriptions for press materials. I studied how the brand communicated across channels and adapted my writing to match their sophisticated, authoritative tone.
The outcome
Foundational experience writing for prestige beauty that taught me how to balance technical credibility with persuasive storytelling, work to PR deadlines and maintain exacting brand standards.
